While each person’s mental health journey is unique, sometimes it helps to know we’re not alone.
Circles are live therapist and coach-led group sessions that help participants collectively learn, share, and heal around topics critical to our mental well-being.
Over 50 Circles topics, designed by top providers delivering culturally centered care:
We constantly evolve our community Circles available to all members, and provide employers a menu of topics that can be offered privately to their workforce.
Foundations of Mental Health
Black Lives Matter
Transgender Stories
Healing Asian Communities
Care for everyone
Circles make taking steps toward better mental health just a little bit easier, by providing three distinct formats that are designed to meet people where they’re at.

Group Discussions

for those who prefer to share and connect with others

Skill-building Workshops

for those who prefer to put tools into action

Listen & Learns

for those who prefer active listening

One-on-one therapy is great, but sometimes we just need to feel validated and know that we aren't alone in our struggles. Circles are great for that because they allow you to benefit from both active and passive participation. Depending on what you need in any given moment, you can attend a Circle and choose to passively listen and absorb, or actively share and ask lots of questions. It's kind of like allowing you to customize your own wellness journey.

Thank you for having a healing circle for the Asian community to be able to come together and process. It is a safe space for individuals to participate without judgement and discuss mental health; especially when it is such a taboo subject within the Asian community. I have been seeing a non-Asian therapist for several years now, and while it is helpful, I have a hard time connecting about experiences with racism and cultural identity. I felt like I was seen for the first time when I attended today's healing circle, knowing that I am not alone in my emotions that have stemmed from past/present experiences.
Extending a hand in
times of need
A global pandemic. Race-based violence. Political anxiety. HR leaders aren’t necessarily equipped to support employees when distressing events arise. Circles have quickly become an essential support system for HR leaders and employees when they need it most. We are constantly developing new series for global events, seasonal topics, and social justice issues as they arise.

This is such a great resource and I am so grateful that this exists. I've been to a few Circles now—Healing Circles for the Black Community, Celebrating Black Greatness, and Race & Mental Health—and each time I come away feeling refreshed and renewed by being in a safe space where I am understood and seen.

Thank you for offering this timely session to help us take care of ourselves. Having a safe place for solidarity and shared emotions is so important during these difficult times.

Roy provided an excellent presentation, made it naturally interactive, and provided fantastic advice that I will be carrying on into my mental health journey!
Circles Participant
I liked being able to connect with other participants and learn that they're going through similar feelings as I am. I really appreciated the sense of community that that created.

This space was so affirming. I have never even had the opportunity to be a part of a Circle like this, nor have I had the opportunity to work with therapists [who align with my identity]. I do see a one-to-one therapist regularly, but I often find that I am unable to really fully broach these conversations with her. Again, this space was so necessary!

Dr. J did an amazing job with getting people to express and share their emotions over Zoom—the way she was able to guide the conversation in particular was great. It was very humbling and emotional to see people from all over the country come together like they did during that call...and most with their cameras on!
Circles Participant
Our instructor was great and very helpful. Really surprising how much help I received in just 60 minutes.
Circles Participant
I liked that there were people from other states and countries.  It really emphasized our connection to others in the world and that we are not alone in our struggles.
Circles Participant
The topics were presented in a way that was both digestible as well as thorough. I left the session feeling in a much better mental head space. Also, loved the breathing exercise to get it started.
Circles Participant
Thank you for this space. I've known about Modern Health for a while and finally took the leap today. I'm really glad I did, I got a lot out of this session.

Circles provide a way to not feel so broken in our daily struggle with the realities of the human experience. We often feel like it's just us who's having difficulty and that everyone else must be so much better at managing this thing called life. By attending Circles, you get the benefit of evidence-based guidance from a Modern Health provider while connecting with others who are feeling similar to you. The experience helps you realize you aren't alone, and connecting with our shared humanity in this way is remarkably powerful.
